Thanksgiving

Family, friends, home, health, heat, etc.  I have always heard that when you feel down you should begin writing a list of all of the blessings you have in your life.  Truly the list is extensive.  Even after we list the large items, children, friends, home you could break each one of those down into several other items such as laughter, love, care, compassion, and the list goes on.  This week take some time, list your items, and then "Thank" the creator and the one who gives all blessings.

All good gifts come from above (i.e. from the Father). The greatest "gift" is God. In Genesis, The Lord told Abram, "I am your shield and exceeding great reward!" Of all the good things the Lord gives, the Best is Himself. As we celebrate the birht of Christ, I am reminded of the angels testimony to the shepherds (and to us), Fear Not, for I bring you good news of Great Joy for unto YOU is born this day a savior - Christ the Lord. I am thankful that He came and that He came to seek and save the lost like me.
